Menopause Management

Menopause is the stage in a woman’s life whereby the menstrual cycle stops. This occurs due to changes in hormonal levels. It usually occurs in women between the ages of 45-55 years. While some women do not experience any symptoms, many women experience symptoms such as:

  • Hot Flushes
  • Night Sweats
  • Mood Swings
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Lack of Energy
  • Increased Risk of Depression
  • Vaginal Dryness
  • Pain During Sexual Intercourse

Some of these symptoms may be overwhelming and hard to manage. This is why gynaecological attention and counselling is recommended for women to help them as they transition into a new chapter of their lives. If necessary, doctors might prescribe bio-identical hormonal treatments to help alleviate the severity of these symptoms.
