Safe & Confidential Abortion Services in Singapore
Abortion in Singapore can be performed in two ways: Surgical Abortion and Medical Abortion (Abortion Pill). Both methods are legal and safe when properly supervised and performed by an experienced doctor at a licensed medical facility.
Women in Singapore can get an abortion for pregnancies up to 24 weeks, provided certain criteria are met. In line with Singapore's laws, privacy is respected and parental consent is not needed.
Pre-abortion counselling will be provided to ensure patients make an informed decision; and post-procedural follow-ups will ensure safe completion of the process and proper recovery.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr Jen is a dedicated gynaecologist and abortion doctor known for his compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to women’s health.
After completing his medical training in Singapore and the United Kingdom, Dr Jen served in several public hospitals before establishing his clinic in Ang Mo Kio to provide accessible care to the community.
Dr Jen has published numerous academic articles in the field of OBGYN and was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists (London) in 1999.
Today, he continues to provide high-quality, personalised and supportive care to all patients that he sees.

Your first visit typically includes a discussion of your medical history, symptoms, and concerns, followed by a general examination or tests if needed. The doctor will explain each step and ensure you feel comfortable throughout.
In general, yes, if:
- The pregnancy is below 24 weeks
- You're a Singaporean citizen or PR
- You're a foreigner who's stayed in Singapore for more than 4 months

At my clinic, the cost starts from $500 for the medication itself. Please note that this does not include the consultation fee or any additional charges if further medical intervention is required.
This depends on the stage of the pregnancy. For early pregnancies, this will range from $1.2k to $1.5k. For more advanced pregnancies, this will range from $3k to $4k.
Surgical abortions are Medisave-claimable (up to a certain limit), but not medical abortions (abortion pill).
