Pregnancy Screening Delivery

It is definitely good news to hear that one is expecting. However, it is usually coupled with anxiety and fear. Parents would often worry about the health of the baby and the possibility of any disorders that could be developed while the fetus is still in the womb. They require constant assurance that their baby is perfect and that he or she would be safely delivered into this world.

We understand all your concerns and we aim to guide you through the entire process of your pregnancy. With our full range of services and capabilities, we would put your minds at ease as you entrust us with all your pregnancy screenings and tests needs.

Our BASIC ANTENATAL PACKAGE ($900/-) includes the following services with our Gynaecologist, Dr. Jen.

  • Consultations with gynaecologist

    You would get to talk one-on-one with our gynaecologist. He would be able to address all your concerns regarding the health the baby and the mother. He would also be able to offer you advice to ensure the smooth delivery of your baby.
  • Routine ultrasound scanning

    Routine ultrasound scans are conducted to track the health and growth of the baby. We could also determine the sex of the baby in the later stages of the pregnancy. More importantly, we could also identify if there are any complications regarding the pregnancy.
  • Routine vitamins

    The health of the mother would determine the health of the baby. Hence, we would prescribe necessary vitamins that would ensure the well-being of both the mother and the child. Additional hormonal pills could also be prescribed if the body is unable to secrete sufficient hormones to support the pregnancy.

We also offer the other following services in our clinic that is not included in our basic package

  • OSCAR Test ($150/-)

    This test is conducted within the first trimester, 11 – 14 weeks, of the pregnancy. This test is considered as the most advanced test for assessing the risk of a fetus developing Down Syndrome or other chromosomal disorders such as Trisomy 13 or 18, with 90% accuracy.
  • Amniocentesis

    This test is usually conducted within 16 – 20 weeks into the pregnancy. In this test, a sample of the amniotic fluid is taken and analysed. This test would enable parents to determine whether their child has certain genetic disorders or chromosomal abnormality. In this test, parents could also assess the maturity of the baby’s lungs and diagnose intrauterine infection.
  • Fetal Anomaly Scan ($200/-) or 3D Fetal Anomaly Scan ($500/-)

    This scan is usually conducted within 20 – 24 weeks into the pregnancy. Almost 90% of abnormalities could be detected with this scan. This scan would enable us to check the anatomy of the fetus, assess the progress of growth and examine the placental position as well as the cervical status.
  • Cardiotocography, CTG ($40/-)

    This is usually done at the 36th week of the pregnancy. This procedure involves monitoring the fetal heartbeat as well as the mother’s uterine contractions. This procedure takes about 30 minutes. With this test, we would be able to detect any anomaly associated with the heart of the baby.
  • Antenatal Blood Profile ($60/-)

    This blood test is conducted on the mother. This blood test would enable us to check for anaemia and infections that could harm the baby like Hepatitis B, Rubella, Syphillis and AIDS.
